Zdenka is a passionate interculturalist and multilingual global citizen. Originally from the Czech Republic, she lived, worked or studied in several European countries and has lived in the U.S. for many years now. She offers a unique perspective and experience, bridging both sides of the Atlantic.

As a seasoned professional with a diverse career spanning project management, event planning and consulting in the field of international cooperation, education and export promotion across sectors, Zdenka has leveraged this multi-faceted global experience by developing her own business in 2024 – her mission is to assist expats and their families during international transitions and to support international educational programs both in Europe and the U.S.

Zdenka’s passion for languages and international affairs from an early age proved invaluable when she began a globe-trotting adventure nearly two decades ago as part of a U.S. diplomatic and military family. She further broadened her horizons by delving into the intricacies of intercultural communication, recognizing its essential role in nurturing cross-cultural understanding and fostering collaboration.

Having lived, worked, and raised a family in six countries across three continents (Norway, Tunisia, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic and the U.S.) Zdenka frequently adapted to new environments, fostering resilience and immersing herself in diverse cultural landscapes. With numerous international relocations under her belt, Zdenka fully empathizes with the challenges inherent in international moves and living outside of one’s passport country.

Zdenka divides her time between her two homes, Chicago and Prague. She’s a proud mom of three very open-minded, multilingual children, loves traveling, hiking and gardening.
